Biography

Richard Masamitsu Scheiffele (born 1974) grew up in Japan and has a German-Japanese background. His training and consulting activities as a German attorney have always had a strong international orientation, especially when working in large and medium-sized commercial law firms in Germany, Japan, and the Netherlands. Since 2004 he has been advising German subsidiaries of Japanese corporations and Japanese mid-tier companies, especially in the areas of labour law, corporate law, and residency law. Since 2015 Richard Masamitsu Scheiffele has been the head of the Japan/Asia Desk at PETERS.
