Biography

Katsumi Ogawa (born 1985) was born and raised in Japan. After graduating from university in Japan, he studied law in Bochum with a focus on corporate and competition law. During his legal traineeship, he was mainly engaged in cross-border matters at the Customs Senate of the Finance Court in Düsseldorf. Having passed his examinations as a certified public accountant in Japan as well as in the USA (not registered as a CPA), he has profound knowledge in the evaluation of economically complex matters. He mainly advises German subsidiaries and branches of Japanese corporations and mid-tier companies and represents them in and out of court.
